Hi, I am Geralyn.
I know I am a genealogist because when I discover someone died in, say, 1900, I exclaim, "Oh look, he/she just died in 1900," as if that were so recent as to have been yesterday, lol.
And, like so many others who have found their way to this site, I spend all of my vacation time wandering around in cemeteries, woo.
I am new here as of 1-05-2009, therefore it will take me a bit to get a proper profile written, as well as acclimate myself somewhat.
My main focus at this time are Furgason/Ferguson folks of Greensville & Brunswick Counties, VA. I am descended from 3g-gf Robert Berriman Furgason [1787-1867] who left the fold of his family there & settled in Rutherford County, TN, between 1811 & 1820.
I know his father is also Berriman Ferguson, but I don't have a full listings of his siblings. Any info there is appreciated.
Mr. Buck Ivey: If you read this, you will now know why I added you to my friends. Hugs to you!
