Bio

I have been researching my family "Richards" from Porthleven, Cornwall, England and my husband's family "Cousens" from Pownal, Prince Edward Island for about 3 years. My husband's great grandfather came from Devon, England abt 1830 and settled in Prince Edward Island. My grandparents Richard Richards and Beatrice Lawry settled in Ishpeming, Michigan and later moved to Parma, Jackson County, Michigan.
In August 2012 my husband and I took a genealogy vacation to New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. We visited several cemeteries where his ancestors are buried and took lots of pictures. We have added a cemetery in Musquash, New Brunswick called St. Anne's Anglican Church and Cemetery. His grandparents were married at this church and his great-grandparents are buried there. This cemetery was not easy to find as the church was no longer standing since 2004. There is a large stone monument where the church once stood.
