My name is Melanie Jo 'Towery' Kunkel. I married Michael Kunkel, of Priddy, Texas, on July 26, 2008. My parents are Darell & Lori Towery. My grandparents are the late Melvin and Irene Cast and Glenn and Mary Towery. I have one sister, Ashleigh Towery, and a neice, Haleigh Cancela.

I grew up in Thorndale, Texas, which I graduated in 2002. I went on to attend Texas A&M University in College Station and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology in December 2007. I am currently a teacher and coach in Brownwood, Texas.
