Born in Arkansas. Moved to Illinois in 1951. Went to school there; worked and retired from John Deere. Moved to Alabama for the climate, great people, and low taxes. Used to say "low insurance rates". Not true any more - too many hurricanes. We live very near the coast.

Health important - 2 bypass surgeries but I'm a healthy guy. Interests include running, gym workouts, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, genealogy, and many walks with my wonderful wife, Jean Ann.

Genealogy families include Walden, Shreve, Cunningham, Long, Rudisill, Folk, Shaw, Nelson, and Wise. Find A Grave is a wonderful organization and has pulled me out of the depths of confusion many times. I've met many good folks thru them.
