Genealogy is a terrific hobby of mine. I believe that it is most important to know your past, your paternal and maternal ancesors, and to pass down the history and memories to our next generations.
Through this process of research and record keeping we can better understand ourselves as well as educate our future family. Genealogy is a great connector toward making the individual realizing they are not alone - it is more than just names places and dates. It becomes a quest for learning about the people living in the times they were given and how they faced life. They may not be interested today - but someone in your future will have the same wonderment that started each of us to learn more.
I truly feel honored in assisting others gathering infomation of their family and friends final resting places.
