My daughter got me started doing genealogy when she wanted to do a genealogy project for 4-H. In helping her find records, I became hooked. My favorite part is finding stories about past family members, bringing a part of history alive. My paternal grandfather was our official family historian until his death in July 2008. Since then, I have had the great honor of continuing what he began.
