I was born and raised in Grenada, MS, and recently moved back home after living in Memphis and the suburbs around it for over 30 years. I've been researching my family history off and on since the early 70s (mostly off for the past several years).

My late husband and I had two wonderful sons, one of whom married a few years back and gifted me two and a half years ago with the most adorable grandson in the world. Now that I am no longer working, I'd like to take up my genealogy research again so that I can someday tell him about some of the people he came from.

I was delighted to discover Find A Grave, as it has already supplied me with a couple of missing names in my family tree. I look forward to spending many hours browsing among the virtual headstones, leaving flowers as I go.
