I am a retired U.S. Air Force officer. I was a meteorologist while serving. I have since served in the insurance industry as a catastrophe risk analyst and then retired from that as well. I have recently moved to the Phoenix, Arizona, area. My interest in genealogy grew out of my interest in history. My biggest surprise is that genealogy has shown me that many of the people I grew up with are my relatives as well. I now see the family tree as more of a family tapestry. We're all related!
