Bio

"Never a dull moment" is my personal motto. Life is always full of adventure, surprises, stories, and most of all, the people that contribute to making the life that we experience.

I am an Italian American, born of the Castelli Family on my Mom's side, and Mood/Severson family, with English heritage on my Dad's. My dad was adopted in his younger years by his mother's second husband, Henning D. Severson. His father was Claude W. Mood.

I have been greatly enjoying learning of my heritage on both sides of the family, and documenting everything as I go.

I recently photo-surveyed my Castelli grandparent's gravesites in Kennewick Washington where I grew up for a good portion of my younger years. As soon as I process the film (Yes, I am still shooting with film...), I will post the images!

I will also be posting images of my Great Grand-parent's gravesite in Toluca Illinois shortly, from a survey done in 2005 (Gaetano and Enrica Castelli).

Finally, to both my Fellow Italian friends and those who are honorary ones (that is everybody...), I would like to say, "tu famiglia en mia casa!" Which means, "In my home, you are family!"

Blessings to you all,

Michael David :-)
