I live in Searcy, Arkansas and have been researching the Finley and Drake families. John(Jack) Lewis Finley was my grandfather and Ethel Lillie Bell Drake Finley was my grandmother. Louis Clifton Finley was my father - they lived in the Cerro Gordo, Arkansas area. I was born and raised in DeQueen, Arkansas and spent a lot of time in Cerro Gordo visiting cousins, uncles and aunts.

I have been to Pauley cemetery a number of times over the years for funerals and to help my father repair and cleanup. The last funeral I was at was for Ermal Finley (my aunt) who died last year (2008). Dwayne Preuett will be buried there tomorrow (December 21, 2009). His grandmother was Alfa Sylvia Finley Bayless. She was the daughter of William Henry Finley who would be my great grandfather.
