Bio

The surnames that are of most interest to me are CLICK (originally CLEEK), HARMON, RICKMAN, and BUSH.

My biggest priority is finding out more information about my great-grandfather, FREDERICK CHARLES BUSH, who was reportedly born in Bath, Somerset, England on April 9, 1841 (or 1847). He served in the Abyssinian War, and later immigrated to America with his wife and five sons, names unknown. Supposedly, the entire family contracted malaria while living in Arkansas, and only Frederick Charles survived. I know nothing more about his first wife and children. He married my great-grandmother, FANNIE FRANCIS CLIFFORD, on Christmas Eve 1888, in Kansas. They later moved to Pineville, Missouri, and Frederick Charles became a naturalized American citizen on August 3, 1910. He and his second wife had 13 children. He died on February 15, 1919, of influenza and is buried in the Pineville Cemetery with his son Paul, who had passed away on December 30, 1918, at the age of 14. Documents pertaining to Frederick Charles are scarce, and oftentimes contradictory. Any clues would be deeply appreciated.
