Born Oct. 26 1943 to Lee Oland Weathersbee Jr. 122890084 and Katherine" Kitty Wade" Cely Weathersbee 48622795 in Del Rio, Texas. Graduated from Del Rio High School in 1961. All district basketball 14AAA, 1961. Attended Schreiner Jr. College, Kerrville Tx. on a basketball and track scholarship (1961-1963). Texas Jr. College high jump champion 1963. Graduated from Sul Ross State College, Alpine, TX. with a B.S. degree in range animal science in 1965. Ranched all my life in the Sanderson, Dryden, Comstock and Del Rio area, thanks to my Aunt Mary (101475046), my mothers sister, and Uncle Jimmy (Unk) Martin (101474746). I lived and worked during the summers, weeks ends and holidays on Unk's Ranch the Continental, since I was 13 years old, 1956. After college I managed the Continental Running W Ranch,33,333 acres, in Terrell county, 1965-1973, owned by R.W.Prosser and leased by Unk and his dad Harold Martin. Unk made me a partner, along with my cousin, his daughter, Marilyn Martin Hunt, 156531814, in the Continental Livestock, on the Continental Ranch, 28,500 acres in Val Verde County 1973-1992. Also thru Unk I became a partner,1975-1999, with Roger Derby Prosser,106452918, and later on his son Bob Prosser on the Lazy Two ranch, 18,500 acres until Bob sold it to Harold Nix, in 1999. All the partnerships were in the livestock only-no land. The Prossers were the heirs and nephews of their great uncle R. W. Prosser, one of the original Ranching pioneers in this part of Texas. Prosser came to Texas in 1880 at the age of 19. At one time R. W. Prosser owned well over 300,000 acres of ranchland in this part of Texas. I Served 12 years as a Del Rio, TX. city councilman, 1984-1992 & 1994-1998. A director and director emeritus of the San Antonio Livestock Show 1980 to present. Owned and piloted airplanes (Cessna 172(N7117T) Cessna 182(N43LW) for 33 years and 3,500 flying hours.. Daughter Cami Weathersbee Cadena b.1967 (Robert) and son Martin King Weathersbee b.1968 (Sheri) both of Del Rio, Texas, by former wife Terry King Weathersbee, of Comstock. Grandchildren Corryn Cadena Bermea ( Rene, M.D.) of Boston, Mass.. Dr. Cole Cadena and Cade Cadena of Del Rio. Married Najla Hanna Laty of Jaffa, Palestine in 1999. Najla and I are Antioch Christian Orthodox. Members of St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Fredericksburg, Texas. Also St. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, Dallas, Texas.
