I'm a big fan of findagrave.com and appreciate all the work the contributors do to add information and photos to this site!

I'm researching maternal lines of Gambill (also spelled Gamble by some relatives). My Mom's maternal line is from McGoffinn County, Kentucky. My immediate connection is to Bessie Gambill, my grandmother, who married Jeffie Howard. They lived in Worthington, KY. I was born in Ashland, KY.

I'm also researching my Dad's line of Colbert from the Chickasaw County area of Mississippi. His side farmed and worked in their town of Trebloc (Colbert spelled backwards) from the mid 1850s and they have ties (I think) back to Chief George Colbert of the Chickasaw Indians.
