I was lucky to have had ancestors that were pack rats as well as genealogy enthusiasts. I inherited quite a lot of info and began researching our family with my Mom back in the 70's. In 1996 we took a 2 week trip together and drove to her birth state of Minnesota, then over to Michigan to meet her step-mother, 1/2 brother and his wife. Her father and mother had divorced when she was 2. His new family new nothing about her existence and he had died in 1976. But they were gracious, warm and welcoming and we had a wonderful stay. We then went on to Ohio where many of our ancestors, relatives were buried. Of course we took pictures along the way so now I feel like it is time to share them all.It is going to take some time as I have quite a few. I will also be glad to take photos in cemeteries in Calvert and Southern Anne Arundel County in MD.
I am a retired Paramedic, married for almost 33 yrs with one son and one daughter and one grandson who will be turning 1 on May 4th. I live in Calvert County, Maryland. Anyone can download my pictures for personal genealogy use, personal website use. Not for commercial us without permission.
3/26/11 As of this time I cannot take any photos. I have a serious back injury and am walking with a cane..Hopefully, surgery in the near future will eliminate the problem..
