Bio
I was born Oct. 29, 1942 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Woodrow and Winona Elrod. I grew up in the Philadelphia community and was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church becoming a Christian at the age of 10 while attending a revival service at that church. My father, Woody was the general secretary of the Philadelphia Cemetery Association for many years and helped locate burial sites for the men who prepared the sites for burial. After college graduation and nearly 40 years as a teacher, my wife and I are retired and living in Sun City, Georgetown, Texas. As of Sept, 2012 my wife and I moved to Cedar Park, Texas, just north of Austin.
