I've been researching my family on and off for the last 20 years. I got tired of hearing I don't know and since I already claim the title Vigilante Historian (that's another story) I now claim the title Family Historian as well.

Some of the families I research are:

Criminger
Scott
Seegars
Austin
Gardner

These for the most part have been in Kershaw and Lancaster County South Carolina. Although I go where is needed to find the information.

The greatest distance so far is back to Germany on my mothers side of the family for Grimminger which was the original family name for Criminger.

So I keep searching...
