My name is Gerrit Reijnders and i life in Nijverdal not far from the War Cemetery in Holten the Netherlands.

I am 48 years old when im writing this (2010), i am married and have three children. I am percussion teacher and director of 5 percussion bands.

On 4 May 2010 Memorial day in the Netherlands.
I was searching on the internet and came on the site www.canadianheroes.org

There i read the guestbook and how i can help people that ask for attend the grave.

So i search with my wife for the name i wanted in the registry book on the cemetery.
At home i thought isn't there a registry on the internet, then i found this site.

If i can help families in Canada that want to have a picture off their family member(s) grave in Holten. I will take pictures for them.

I hope family members will help to upload a picture of their family member(s), but also can help us with telling the story what the soldier did and how he died, to make a sort of database.
