I have been happily married for 29 1/2 years to Rodney. Have 2 children, Nicole-38 and Christopher-14. I love Genealogy. I have been researching my family tree(s) for years, whenever I have a few hours of free time, although it is never enough. My father, Philip Mayeaux from Avoyelles Parish Louisiana, past away in June, 2007 from the (excessive amount of) radiation treatments for Cancer of the Larnyx and my Mother, (Ethlyn) Erline "Teenie" Channell from Yazoo City Mississippi, past away in Nov. 2007 from Cancer. I lost my pals, my friends, travel buddies, my compodrae's. I have 2 dogs, Jack Russell Terriers-Jack Russell DeJong, 8 years old and father of Bella Rose DeJong 9 months old.

I am researching the Mayeaux/Lemoine Family from the Avoyelles Parish, La. Area. Family surnames include, Jeansonne, Veade, Bordelon, Gauthier, LaBorde, LaCour, and many more. The states that many of these families may have also been in are several, so I am not sure how many states I should be looking in. I also am researching the Channell/Watson family. This would also include: Hollingsworth, Zullo, Suden, Minga, etc. The Channell/Watson side, my mothers, would have been in the states of Mississippi, Oklahoma, Alabama, I am not sure of how many other states.
