Bio

I was born in Sweden and emigrated to the US with my parents
when I was around 10. I love the US and have lived here ever since.
I majored in history and English literature. I have been a research librarian for my whole career. I have taught genealogy and love to help folks with it. I believe we need to appreciate our families, our histories, our origins, but that it is equally important to assimilate into the melting pot. Once you leave a country, then you will never be the same again. Thank God! You become a new person, and you must adjust and learn from it. I am very interested in the question of immigration: how it enriches nations as well as how it tears them apart.; how it affects individuals, families, communities.
Does it lead to One World with One People, or does it lead to more
strife and dissension?
