I have been doing my Family History for the last 6 years, and difficulties with finding and obtaining War Grave information or War Records, led me to start taking Photographs of War Graves in my Local Cemetery, so far I have done the Manchester Regiment and am currently finishing the Lancashire Regiment, when completed I will endeavour to take photos of the remaining War Graves.

In Weaste alone, there are over 1,000 War Graves, most of them Family Graves, eventually I will add all info to this site

With a group of Volunteers, we have completed (I think) the Manchester Regiment and the Lancashire Fusiliers that are on the CWGC in Agecroft, Southern, Philips Park and Gorton Cemeteries.

I am happy to do Photos of any Graves in Weaste Cemetery, but I do need the Grave reference number, I am also happy to re do Photos I have already done, as I am aware that some have not turned out very well.
