My father, Walter Ross Conner, was one of 13 children, most of whom were born in McVeytown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. My grandparents and many of their children and grandchildren are buried in Mattawana Cemetery, Mifflin County.

My mother, Arlene Noyes Conner was fourth generation from a Jefferson County, Wisconsin pioneer. Many, many, of her relatives (and both my parents) are buried in the Hebron Cemetery, Hebron, Jefferson County, Wisconsin.
