Bio

I have been chasing our family history since 1970's along with my Aunts Virginia Tillery Perigo and Diane Bishop. My Aunt Ira gave me my first taste of family history with a letter she wrote and gave to everyone. Together we have found some really cool stuff, things that make you laugh, things that make you cry, things that make you grateful that you are alive! To learn who you are, find out your history. Get out there and shake your family tree...you might just be surprised who falls out of it! Our family is rich with Westbrook, Talley, Tally, Tillery, Wheat, Boone, Boon, Hudson, Stewart, Gallaway, Galloway, Reece, Harris, Vann, Adair, Jones, Brown, Bryant,Tiller,Lawless, Higgins,Ditmore, Hinsley, Henson, Walkingstick, Silver, Crenshaw, Golden and so many, many more.....now with over 127,566 names on our tree, and growing, we are getting a good idea of who we are! My Aunt Virginia is a wonderful writer and has written Two books so far...the first on the Perigo line and now a 7 volume book with over 2500 pages on The Westbrooks...what an heirloom. Diane Bishop is a walking dictionary of family history without their help I would still be struggling with family names and places. What a journey! are you ready to start yours? I will always try and get my facts correct....and I am very willing to help those who need a hand....all I ask is that you are patient with me as we work through it.

****If you volunteer on Findagrave and decide you no longer want to maintain the memorials you manage, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)
