The Mullers came to America from Switzerland, and settled in Ohio, before moving to Clarinda, Iowa. My Great Great Grandfather, Lewis, changed his family's last name to Miller and moved to Monroe, LA.

The Leckies are a large family located mostly around Alexandria, Louisiana.

The Downs are from Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, and I suspect that the town of Downsville was named after them.
