Bio

In 1979 my father gave me an old photo of my grandfather taken in 1916. This sparked an interest in old family photographs. My mother add about twenty more to my collection, by then I needed to know who these people were and how they related to me and each other. This was the beginning of my genealogy.
I got interested in find-a-grave when I stumbled across a family members memorial while searching
for family information. I became a member when I realized I had photographs of family members I could post on there memorails. My involvement has only gotten greater as time passes. This inspired me to search for a couple lost family cemeteries that I did find and have now posted as the Old Nichols cemetery and Highfill/Taylor cemetery.
It has been a very rewarding experience.
IT IS MY BELIEF THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A MARKER!
