I'm a hardcore supporter of Raye Dawn Smith. She was wrongfully convicted in 2007 for enabling the abuse that killed her 2-year-old daughter, Kelsey Shelton Smith, on October 11, 2005. Raye's second husband, Kelsey's stepfather Michael Lee Porter, raped and murdered Kelsey. Porter was given a plea deal in February, 2007 and plead guilty of enabling child abuse and is serving a 30 year prison sentence. Raye was also convicted of Enabling Child Abuse and sentenced to 27 years.
