Hi, my name is River Pinkham. I'm from Washington, NC, but now I live near Charlotte. My neighbor told me about this site a few years ago, and I decided to check it out. I was surprised to see a listing for my maternal grandfather, and even more surprised when the photo request I made was filled. He is buried in Florida, so it is unlikely I will get to visit his grave.

I hadn't visited the site again until recently and then I found that my paternal grandparents had been added. I was also able to find listing in Pamlico Country for my paternal grandmother's family. My parents don't really talk a lot about their families, so this site has been helpful.

Thank you to everyone who is a volunteer. I need to get familiar with the cemeteries where I live, so I can become a photo volunteer.
