FREEMAN FAMILY CEMETERY

As children my brothers and sisters and I (there are five of us along with our parents) worked on the farm. We worked in the fields and cared for the critter that we had to help provide for our family.
Our family began with the marriage of "Charlie and Lizzie" on the 24 Sep. 1944. We were farmers Both mom and dad, had similar backgrounds. We know that we have a Native American heritage, Cherokee, we've been told.
As farmers we were taught to perserve the earth. Our parents taught us to appreciate what we have and to look beyond the herizon, and dare to dream. Education was important because no one can take away that knowledge. We worked hard, and worked as a team--it takes that pulling together to get great outcomes.
Our parents taught us to always try and do our best. Daddy always said if it is worth doing its worth doing right. Always put God first, family is next and every thing else will fall in place. To always tell the truth no matter what and if its bad take the consequencies. Our Mom and Dad taught us to respect life and go the extra mile. Daddy was a strict man. Mom kind and gentle. Althought daddy ruled with an iron hand and mom with love and kindness we knew that they both loved us, and they took care of us We were so blessed to have them in our lives and to have shared so many memories with them, the bad and the good and we miss them very much. Our lives have always been around mallory and Latta, daddy farmed and was a mechanic, later in his life he ran a fish market in Latta. Mom worked harder she was a housewife and was always with the children at home, although she did work on the farm she was always with us. We love you momma and Daddy. We'll see you again.
