For the pass 30 years in the funeral service industry I have walked through the cemeteries to bury a decedent . I have often wondered about that decedent's life. The person's obituary only tells just a small part of that person's life which makes me want to know about them especially if it was a long lost member of my mom and dad's families.

When I see an old marker with the decedent's profile picture on that marker and under those photos it reads MOM or DAD or SON or DAUGHTER it makes me really wonder what their life's were really like back during their time on this earth.

In doing Find a Grave and Ancestry its my way of honoring my mom and dad's families and learning about them and their families from the pass and about their life's.
