Bio

I like the Findagrave format because it provides a forum where past generations can be brought to life- showing their faces, families, friends, homes, workplaces - together with links that join them to other generations. I like that the format is interactive and that others can suggest corrections, edits and that here there is a pooling of infomation and photos. I encourage anyone looking at my memorials to use them as a starting point and that everyone do their own research and verification of anything they see here.

I am most fond of San Francisco, California, European history, as well as the history of Resö, (a small island on the west coast of Sweden where my grandmother was raised).

In May, 2011 I began a comprehensive record of the churchyard at Resö/Galtö. This is a huge project that includes the newer graves on the far side of the wall away from the church.

The Resö/Galtö cemetery site is a work-in-progress. It will take years to polish and complete. Dates, relationships and photos are being added and refined daily. Though the data is reliable, some of it needs to be verified. Oral histories, web sources, and some primary sources are included and sometimes conflict with eachother. I have tried to point out any conflicts, discrepancies, and questions. Please add any/all info you might have to correct/fill-out these memorials.
