Bio

I was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1944. My family moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1945. I attended public school in Carlsbad and graduated from New Mexico State University in 1966 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

I worked 41 years for Continental Tire and retired as the Manager of Environmental Programs for the Americas.

I have and active interest in the arts; Painting, stained glass, Native American Beadwork, Dance and Theater. I was in a commercial for Digital Television for WSIU. My wife and I appear in the documentary "Charlie Birger" produced by WSIU. I have performed on-stage and worked backstage for many theater productions.

Through my mother's side I am a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. I have beadwork on display in the Choctaw Nation museum in Tuskahoma, OK.

My beadwork has won numerous awards. You may see examples of my favorites and works for sale at my website: http://www.choctawkeith.com.

I am researching my family roots for the following names: Pearson, Lindsey, Thomas, Cobb, Lyles, Thornton, Elrod, Ayers, Noblit, Bobo.
