I have been active in my family genealogy only for a couple of years, but really enjoy it. I try to gather as much information as I can about my family members with the limited time I have. I am nearing getting complete information on all 8 of my great grandparents, and will move on to the task of trying to complete my 2x great grandparents (at least as much as possible). My ultimate goal with genealogy is to find the origins of where all of my ancestors come from. I like to find graves/headstones and taking photos, so I'm thinking about volunteering to take photos for people here in my area cemeteries.
