Bio

I have been researching my family for over 35 years, ever since my Grandmother told me the story of how her Grandmother, Catharina Niederprum du Sartz de Vigneulle, left Seffern, Germany to settle in Chicago with her 9 children after her husband, Karl Ernst u Sartz de Vigneulle, died.

The family was of the nobility class, and dates back to 1325. First knighted in 1601, the family lived in Alsace-Lorraine region. The nobility class was dissolved at the end of WWI.

I have met cousins from all over the world on my journey and welcome contact with other members of the family.
