Robert and Bettye Sikes purchased 5 plots in 1974 after the death of their son Ronnie (Ronald). The Sikes family buried Geneva Faye Brown ( Bettye's sister)1978 in the family plot and Marcy McAdams(Geneva's Daughter) in 1993 in the same plot as Geneva. To this day, a concrete bench remains on the 5th plot owned by Marilyn Sikes. daughter of Bettye and Bob.
Bob and Bettye purchased and maintained all of the existing headstones for the family buried here and a family member continues with the family tradition of caring for the gravesite to ensure repairs and grounds remain with respect and dignity.
