Bio

I live in Colorado Springs, CO but was born in Fort Wayne, IN where most of my ancestors are located. My father was born in Berne, IN and raised on a semi-Amish farm. My mother was born in Fort Wayne, IN and most of her ancestors are located in that area.

I am researching my direct lineage lines but am also inputting into Ancestry.com 6-8 books that individuals have published about the Liechty family and their ancestors.

I am interested in the following families on my paternal side: Liechty, Schwartz, Steury, Hilty, Mazelin, Wenger and Nussbaum but manage to get sidetracked looking at "everyone's" ancestors. Maternal families would be Scherer, Rodenbeck, Zollinger, and Neiter.

I am also interested in my husband's side of the family: Elliott, Bright, Flesher, Rogers, Dobbs, King, etc.

I have taken photos all the tombstones in the Hilty and Mazelin Cemeteries in Berne, IN and am posting all that information since I am related to most of those ancestors.
