I feel that "Find A Grave" is a wonderful forum to assist me in teaching my children to know and to see through documents and pictures their heritage That desire is the driving force behind me wanting to help others through this site. I am able to include pictures, personal letters, documents and stories I have obtained as I spend time getting to know my families.

This passion began after I spent a year; August 2010 through August 2011 searching for the family members of my Grandpap's 19 nineteen brothers and sisters. The families had not been together for a family reunion since 1971 in Mingo Junction Ohio. When I started this project I knew about "25 Goddards". The reunion was held on August 13, 2011 in the same park in Mingo Junction, 347 Goddards attended. Planning that event and writing a family history book with my Uncle Bill (18-19) created many bonds and memories I will cherish forever.

My family tree is just that; my tree of all family branches in my DNA as well as those of my four children's fathers; Russ Fair and John McCormack. I have been blessed with the love of research and family, that combination has made the "Vintage Kinda Girl(Genetic & Marriages)family Tree" found on Ancestry.com.

The families that are included are the following: my father's side; Musgrave, Francis, Wade, and Strosnider. My mother's side; Goddard, Furbee, Hill, and Forester. My husband Russ Fair's family; Fair, Schley, Offerman and Piellusch. My husband John McCormack's family; McCormack, Wagner, Bianchi, Leo, Masi and D'Aprile.

This has been a wonderful opportunity and adventure from driving to Palmer Ridge in Proctor Creek, Wetzel County, West Virginia to meet my grandpap's family to flying into Venice Italy to drive to Bari Italy home of my husband John's family. I have loved every minute. I hope to meet other family members as I continue my journey.
