My grandmother actually opened the door to genealogy for me about 20 years ago. At this time I thought it was a little goofy, but then I got the bug myself about 5 years ago. I have become enamored with the roles that my family has played in the courses of history. I love how events like the civil war and the revolutionary war have become more alive for me since now I am able to trace my family members to those times and am learning about their roles is such events. I am researching the Tepper Family, Brunner Family, Walch Family, Childers Family, and the Sardina family.
