My maiden name was Broom - a descendant of Martin Broom - who is said to have removed the "e" from the end of the name - many stories evolve around the reason but none can be documented. My family consists of Broom (Broome) , Mason, Spencer Bennett and Blackshear ranging from Texas - Mississippi - Oklahoma and California.
I was given a second family by JE and Gayle Mikeska when my biological family was gone and also try to maintain that family tree.
I am at this time trying to locate the graves of at least 3 generations.
