Bio

I've been involved in genealogy for over 30 years - but only recently got involved with Find A Grave. After seeing the deterioration of many old tombstones over the years I appreciate what so many FAG contributors have been doing to document a lot of cemeteries. Also, now that a huge number of graves in many cemeteries have been documented, I find FAG to be a useful mechanism for making some of the data that I've collected over the years more readily available to other researchers. So I submit numerous additions & corrections to others for existing memorials for my extended family and related families - and am happy to manage memorials if that makes it easier. I also add memorials for people who have no tombstone or memorials but for whom I've found information regarding where they were buried. I don't care for the "numbers game" that some contributors seem to play - but don't mind if they want to "keep" all their memorials as long as they are responsive in adding/correcting information. I try to do likewise - and am happy to transfer a memorial to anyone else who will maintain it properly.
