Bio

I've always been fascinated with genealogy and am fortunate to be descended from some families that either kept good records or otherwise made a name for themselves that ended up being recorded.

My grandmother was always visiting and caring for the graves of generations of her family's decedents, and I have many good memories of going with her, cleaning up and (before we knew any better) taking gentle rubbings of the stones. She passed in 2002 quickly followed by my mother, and I quickly realized I was the only person left in the family who had some knowledge of (or cared) where these graves were, so now I am trying to document as many as possible.

The internet is a great place to research and connect with other family members, and I'm so glad I stumbled over this site during a random search for information on my great-grandfather.

If I can help you locate your decedents in my area (Connecticut or Vermont), or if you're a long-lost relative of the Deane and Brown families from England/Taunton Massachussetts/New York, the Hamiltons from Ireland, the Flood clan from Dublin (or the Sweetsers from St. Albans, VT into whom Matthias married), or the Rochefort, Caron, Dion or Vintinner families from England/France/Quebec/New Hampshire/Vermont, please don't hesitate to say hi. :)
