Bio

I am the daughter of Nestor Salinas Sosa and Alicia Villarreal. My love and inspiration for genealogy is because of my Dad. He was always telling me family stories and going over his family tree with me.

I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 beautiful daughters. I have a dog-Scrapy.

My passion is family history. Documenting all those stories that our loved ones lived and told. Stories that should never be forgotten. This is important to me so that the future generations will know where they come from and who the people were that were here before them.

I love the history that the cemeteries have to offer. If it were up to me, I would make all cemeteries HISTORICAL MARKERS so that they can be protected and preserved even after we are no longer on this earth.

One of the things I love about Find A Grave is linking family members together. It almost feels like they have finally connected. My Grandma, Guadalupe Salinas Sosa in Petaluma, California has finally been connected with her husband, my Grandpa, Ambrosio Rodriguez Sosa in San Benito, Texas.

Another thing I love about Find A Grave is that my ancestors can finally get recognized on the internet for future generations to view. They can also be linked with their parents/children and spouses. This is like a mini Family Tree, but with stories and I call this the coolest thing ever!! They are all my family that I love and feel a need to take care of even if they are no longer on this earth.

I want to thank George Falk and Art Cohen for getting me started and guiding me through Find A Grave.
