Researching my family since I was twelve. Have a few dead ends to get past . I am praying to someday find a piece of paper that will open it up. If I had just known the right questions to ask my paternal Grandfather I might have had my answers back then. Tracing my husbands has led me overseas to France and Germany and not being bilingual in their native French and German tongues is another dead end for me. I have helped many friends and family trace their lineage just for the fun of doing it. It is presently my main hobby . It also is exciting to be able to go back in history and find pictures and their information to make their families happy. I guess I will just keep trying and hope a lead will pop up one of these days on my own family line. Until then maybe I can be of help to some others in finding their lost loved ones.
