Bio

My interest in gravesites begin with a accidental visit to Westwood Memorial to see Marilyn Monroe's crypt. And from that moment on I was hooked. I was surprised to find the amount of celebrity graves there, but more surprised at the art and beauty of the markers, monuments and very interesting epitaphs. My next visits were at Forest Lawn Glendale, Hollywood Forever, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills and Holy Cross. And from there it was unstoppable. From this I have found most of my interest is in old Hollywood (silent film era) Now I am making my way east to New York for the second largest trove of famous U.S. graves as well as researching my family history.
