Bio

I was born in Texas, as were both of my parents. I lived in Texas, Alaska and Washington State. My husband and I also lived in Colorado for a year and Utah for 3 years. But we now have returned to the beautiful Evergreen State, living in Blaine, WA, directly across the bay from British Columbia.

My ancestors migrated from Europe to early colonial America in the 1600s and 1700s. Some migrated to, and lived in, Illinois for several generations in the 1800s (my mother's) side, then migrated to Texas. My father's ancestors migrated through the southern states. I enjoy finding writings of ancestors describing their time. For example, I have a copy of a letter by a (deceased) cousin who described traveling in the the wagon train from Mississippi to Texas in a Conestoga wagon--a six week trip. Researching the family has been a fascinating study of the history of this country. But mainly I enjoy learning about my family and feeling more connected to them. I primarily add and maintain memorials for my own family and ancestors.

Please be respectful of those memorialized and maintain credit for those who have added photos. Photos may be used within permission requirements of photographer and/or poster of photo. I will be happy to add information or corrections you may have.

I appreciate the work of so many to create and maintain memorials with this wonderful tool, and also the transfers of my family members.
