Bio

I was born in 1943 in Michigan during WWII to Bernard "Fay" and Dora Ruth Clay Nansel. My Grade 1-8 education was in one room country schools in Central Nebraska. In 1957 my family moved to Duvall, WA. After graduating from Tolt High School in Carnation, WA, I attended the University of Washington. In 1966, I began teaching 1st grade in Seattle Public Schools. I retired in 1996 after 15 years as a Seattle Elementary School Principal. The first ten years after retirement I had my own business of teaching the art of porcelain doll making. I have been a member of Canyon Hills Community Church for 14 years. I attend the Young at Heart Life Group, Women's Bible Study, classes from the School of Ministry, and Biblical Counseling Seminars. I am thankful to be so richly blessed with the love of my family and friends. I thank God for a life full of peace and joy. In regards to Find A Grave, I'm interested in maintaining the sites of near family members as well as encouraging others to add pictures, flower tributes and other information to family member Find A Grave sites.
