I grew up a Texan, but my heritage is primarily Acadian and French Canadian with a few Germans and Native Americans in the mix. I am especially interested in the Cajuns who settled in the China, Texas area in the early 1900's. I am searching for information on a gg grandfather, Louis Daigle, who probably lived in the Batson, Texas area around 1870. He was born in Church Point, LA in 1830 to Louis Daigle and Adeline Lejeune.
