Bio

I am an Iowa native having been born in Cedar Rapids, Linn, Iowa. Was raised in the Newton and Colfax, Jasper, Iowa areas until moving to Webster City, Hamilton, Iowa when I was in Junior High School. Graduated from Webster City High School in 1970 recieved my Associate Of Arts degree from the Area V community College in Webster City. Married the love of my life on August 20, 1972; of which we are still married. Went to Wayne State College in Wayne, Wayne, Nebraska recieving my Associate of Arts and Master of Science in Education degrees in 1975 and 1980. Moved to Casper, Natrona, Wyoming in the fall of 1980 and taught Vocational Technical Education classes at Natrona County High School for 25 years. Then transfered to Dean Morgan Junior High for my last 5 years in the same Natrona County School District #1 until retiring at the end of the 2009 school year after 30 years. My wife and I raised two boys and now have 4 grandchildren that we truely love and adore.
My hobbies are to include: Genealogy; Gold Prospecting; Fishing; Hunting.
In 1985 I started working on my genealogy lines and have been actively working at the Genealogy Library in Casper, Natrona, Wyoming now for 27 years as a librarian; helping others do their work every Thurday evening.
The lines I am researching include: Edwards; Hendrix; Butcher; Kinser; Lauber; Fleck; Diehm; Wolz; Carpenter; Crosby; Acklin; Havens; Sutton; Steward; Robinson and Aldrich.
I also got my stepfather the one who raised me from the age of 7 years old started on working on his lines with me at the same time until his passing; of which I am still persuing his lines along with my own which includes: Case; Norris; Doty; Havens; Reeves; Hayden; Mosher; Young; Rogers; Nutt; Hanna; Wynn; Walker; Eveland; Dixon and Cadwallader.
If you think I might be able to help you in any way just let me know by e-mail. I am also willing to share my genealogy information; take pictures of grave stones in this area or share the pictures that I have with you.
