Bio

I have ties to Alvin and Danville Illinois. My father was Floyd D. Pasley. He was raised by Louis and Edna Green. Edna was actually his cousin. His mother (Ada Pasley) and Edna's mother (Florence) were sisters. After Ada passed, her sister took my dad in. Then Florence got ill and her daughter Edna raised my dad. My dad married Nellie Opal Blohm and they had 2 children: Patricia Ann Pasley and (me) Janell Sue Pasley. I was the youngest, born July 3, 1953 and my sister was born July 4, 1944. I can recall many visits to "Grandma Edna's" in Alvin. She was wonderful cook and played organ at the church in Alvin. She lived right next door to the church. She had a sister, Audria Eichner (married name) and husband Frank. Last known residence of both was Walnut St. in Danville, IL. I would like to know anything about my father's mother. One of my trips through Danville I stopped at the court house and they printed me a copy of a birth certificate. If it's the correct one, it shows his mother's name as Ada Paslay. (weird spelling of Pasley) and father as Mathison Pitman. My father had 1 brother named Forrest approximately 10 years older than my father. Any and all help would be appreciated.
I now live in Martinsburg, PA. I am looking for more info on my father....He is buried in Manns Chapel Cemetery Rossville, IL.
