I grew up in northern Schuylkill County (Nuremberg and Zion Grove area). I moved to Berks County in 1981 after my active Army service. An ancestor, Conrad Fuss, served as the quartermaster for one of the Berks County militias during the Revolutionary War. So in a sense, I've returned to my family roots.
