Genealogy is a passion that has kept me "Off the streets and out of the bars" as my husband laughingly says, since 1991. I am a board member of the Oklahoma Genealogical Society and active in several lineage societies.

As a small child, I begged my mother to stop the car so I could wander through old cemeteries whether I knew someone buried there or not. The tombstones were beautiful and I was just curious.

My family were florists and ministers, so funeral homes, cemeteries and churches were my regular hang outs when not in school.
