I am a ninth generation Bowser in Bedford County, PA. I was in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years and returned back to Bedford County, PA. I have been researching my family history for six years now. When I started my research I thought I was only 4th generation Bowser in the County. As it turns out my 6th great-grandparents John and Eve Bowser were the first Bowser's recorded in Bedford County. Records show they arrived in the present day Bedford County in 1768 when this area was still Cumberland County. All of my great-grandparent Bowser's are buried in Bedford County with the exception of my great-grandfather William whom is buried in Pittsburgh. I have started researching the descendants of John and Eve Bowser which has put me in contact with some of my cousins across the country. If you believe you are one of my cousins then drop me a line.
